Julius Bobke

Julius Bobke (*1992), lives and works in Berlin (DE). His artistic practice combines and expands classical oil painting with digital printing processes and sculptural elements. He takes up and develops art-historical references and combines them with a strong reference to materials and craftsmanship. He removes pictorial elements and motifs from their original context, processes them digitally and transfers them into new, contemporary themes that he perceives in his surroundings.
