Nora Lube (*1989), lives and works in Braunschweig (DE). Her works are artificial relics of everyday life that show a view of her surroundings from a possible future. Remnants of failed communication, memories of supposed security and fossils of digital, urban and natural landscapes. Lube's works deal with immaterial interstices. Language and communication, categorisation, alienation and power structures are central themes. Lube develops material surfaces by combining various manual and experimental techniques. She assembles the resulting individual elements into spatial installations.
