Galamb Thorday

Galamb Thorday (b. 1990) lives and works in Leipzig. Her paintings question the ideals of consumer culture and the boundaries between products and consumers. In her oil paintings on canvas, she combines idealized wellness and nature scenes with surreal elements and subtle disorientations. Through this visual language, she explores how consumption, self-optimization, and commodified self-care shape social patterns.
